More about le ventre

THE LE VENTRE AND KUNSTRAUM SYNAGOGE HEGENHEIM ASSOCIATIONS

This project is based on voluntary work that has been ongoing since 2014. The transnational nature of this project led to the creation of two associations:

The association Kunstraum Synagoge Hegenheim was founded in 2014 to initiate and support the conversion of the building into a cultural venue. It is an association under Swiss law. le ventre is an association under French law. It has been in existence since 2020, has an international network and is responsible for the operation, further development and implementation of the concept. The association now wants to complete the preservation of the building and create a place dedicated to artist residencies, performances and cultural encounters.

The restoration will make it possible to welcome visitors on a permanent basis and strengthen the cross-border relationships that define the identity of the region.
